"There are so many things I like about this book. The first being the size of it. It is small...and is perfect for little hands. As I sit here writing this review my daughter, who is 18 months old, keeps reaching for the book. She loves the way it feels in her little hands and because of that it has become her favorite book to carry around the house. She sits down with it and babbles while pointing at the various pictures in the book. She is my best book critic and clearly this book has scored high marks by her standards.
The story inside is a basic tale of firefighters racing to put out the fire of a burning house as well as rescue kittens from a nearby tree. What I like is that there are questions posed at the beginning of the book like: What do you wear as a firefighter?
Those questions engage the child in the story before the story even begins."

"Broxton is all about any form of transportation these days and is still in love with firetrucks, so when I saw they had a "Firefighter Adventure" I knew this would be great for us! With the firefighting adventure, we learned that they get called at all hours (even while sleeping!) to go and fight fires! They ride in a firetruck and help to stop the fires! They even save Kitty Cats stuck in trees using their big ladder!!! The books are quite small, so they fit into little hands perfect!!!
(Also means great "stocking stuffer" but also easy to pack to take when out running errands to keep little ones busy and entertained!).
As I said, there are several adventures to choose from, Ballerina's to Pirates and they even have one about a trip to the Dentist!!!
Pima Puppy and Pico Puppy take you on an adventure that you will surely enjoy! "

"Incredibly perfect for my little man who is obsessed with fire engines currently... The books are small enough to fit in his hands and sturdy so he can turn the pages himself. All AdoraPet books are 4.5 x 4.5, easy to fit into a purse or a diaper bag when you're on the go.
In the Firefighter Adventure book Pima Puppy and Pico Puppy go help put out a fire at a house. You see the family outside of the house and they show how the Firefighters put the fire out, how there is a haze afterwards and also concludes with a sweet surprise ending. What's great about this is because there is a realism to it while still being written for young readers so they can understand on their own level what these everyday heroes actually do."

"The author and creator of AdoraPet, YiShaun Yang, explains that she wrote this series to nurture children's dreams and their belief in themselves. Most of the stories in this series are told from the perspective of the reader / child - so they get to experience the adventure *first hand* instead of just reading about someone else's. I love this and love being able to enter the land of make believe with them."
